My practice is made up of people with varying conditions and reasons for seeking massage therapy.

My focus is on therapeutic massage which includes rehabilitation from injuries, managing conditions affecting the soft tissue in the body, helping clients to manage pain and discomfort and ailments stemming from stress.

I graduated from the massage therapy program at Algonquin College in 2002. I continue to seek education in such areas as anatomy, ethics and boundaries, theory and techniques of massage, and common conditions that are found to benefit from massage therapy.

Depending on what you present with and what your body needs, you can expect the following modalities to be included in a treatment:

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
DEEP TISSUE
MYOFASCIAL WORK
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)
RANGE OF MOTION
TMJ (Temperomandibular/Jaw Joint)

Hours

Tuesday: 9am-1pm
Wednesday: 1pm-7pm
Thursday: 1:30pm-5:30pm
Friday: 9am-1pm

I graduated from the International Academy of Massage in September 2012 with honors and received the Executive Director’s Award for Academic Excellence. I also graduated with a certificate in Nutritional Counseling and a certificate in Iridology.

I have a keen interest in craniosacral, acupuncture, nutrition, and energy work. I use a variety of techniques such as swedish massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, range of motion, stretching, and hydrotherapy. I can also incorporate energy work into the massage if a client would like.

Having a couple of children of my own I can certainly attest to the benefits of massage and other body work on children. I find that the introduction of massage, chiropractic, meditation, and nutrition early in a child’s life can promote a strong body awareness within that child. They will be very quick to tell you when there is an imbalance in their body..
